As an older person, I am constantly looking for things that help make daily life doable. My major complaint is that there is no fastener from the lid to the can and, as a consequence animals and rain and snow can readily enter the can. This is a failure on the part of the manufacturer. Otherwise, it should last the rest of my life. Also, it cost way more than the one it replaced!Show Less
