This article outlines a list of the 10 best wireless headsets for working from home in 2025. We have tested the models below over the past two years, and some surprising inclusions are included.
So why wireless headsets only? Well, while I do like a wired headset, wireless models have become more feature-rich in the past few years while reducing latency to a point where it is not really an issue. Many people avoid wired headsets because the delay between the audio and video links damages the immersive experience of virtual meetings and video calls. But with that removed I really can think of a reason to be tethered to your computer. The tech finally caught up.
So, in this list, we are going to answer precisely what the current best models are in 2024, as well as give you some information about what makes a good wireless headset and the benefits and features of the different models at different price points.
The10 Best Wireless Headsets 2025
1. Jabra Evolve2 75
Features:
- MS Teams and UC Compatible
- Convenient charging stand
- Class-Leading noise cancelation
- 8 Microphones for absolute call clarity
Why it’s Good:
This Unified Communications-certified headset is the current gold standard in the industry and is perfect for use in and out of the home office. Let me explain.
Jabra has been a leader in communication systems for years, and the 75t (along with the 85t listed below) has every bit of technology squeezed into the lightweight and solidly constructed body. What makes this really unique is its “one headset to rule them all” design. The microphone is integrated into the body, meaning that when not in use, it can be flipped up to form part of the earcup structure, and nobody would know you are using a wireless headset instead of a wireless headphone.
Class-leading noise cancelation is included, and with the touch of a button, you can switch to passthrough audio to hear what is happening around you without having to remove the headphones. In terms of strength of ANC performance, it was the second best in our testing and very close to the performance you would get on dedicated noise-cancelling headphones.
The wireless range is listed as 30m, and we found it worked in the next room through concrete walls with no call quality degradation. Out of all the headsets we tested for use in a home office, the 75t won every time on our contacts’ sound quality in both sending and receiving signals.
Consistently, we were finding our voice came across clearer and with more natural tones than the competitors, and we put this down to the eight microphones implemented to ensure the highest standards.
Battery life is rated at 36 hours, and at moderate volumes, we achieved 34.5 hours playback from a single charge, but in reality, if you buy the version of this headset with the charging base (which you should), you will likely never find yourself out of power.
Connectivity options are available in MS Teams and UC, meaning they will work with all major communications platforms such as Zoom, Skype, Cisco, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting etc
Verdict: Best Premium Wireless Headset for Work 2023
2. Jabra Evolve2 85
Features:
- All the features of the 75T plus more but in an over-ear form
- Large Comfortable Over Earpads
- Full Premium build quality
- Busy light technology displaying status during calls & meetings
Why It’s Good:
If you are looking for the ultimate premium wireless headset for meetings, the Evolve2 85 from Jabra is the current gold standard. Its ten microphones ensure crystal-clear audio, while state-of-the-art noise-canceling combined with full-size earcups keep you isolated from environmental noise.
They are seriously well made and have all the comfort you could want to make them a viable headset for all-day use. 37 hours of battery life is claimed, and we found we got 35 hours between charges, but they also have a quick charge function providing 8 hours of use from a 30 min charge. Again Jabra includes a charging dock with headphones which is incredibly handy when left on a desk.
This is not just a wireless headset for a home office. It can be used out of the office when traveling and commuting. Jabra has integrated the microphone in such a way that it can be folded up when not in use, and it looks like a streamlined and business-sleek set of headphones.
I have purchased them to replace my Sony WH-1000XM4 because they save me from having a headset and headphones. I can use the noise-canceling of the Evolve2 85 when flying, and I can take calls more easily and clearly with the integrated mic being on me at all times.
The 85 is compatible with all universal communications systems, as expected.
Verdict: A great flagship headset for VOIP
3. Plantronics Savi 8220
Features:
- The single-sided design makes for a more similar experience to using a phone but leaves your hands free.
- Certified for use with Microsoft Teams and other leading voice platforms
- Excellent 2-year global warranty
- Android and IOS apps to control operation
What We Like:
The Plantronics Savi 8220 is a new addition to the list for 2024. The third spot was previously held by their excellent 8210 model but after testing I think the improvements are justified.
The headset’s materials have been upgraded to make it more durable, and the dated design of the previous model has been thoroughly modernized. It’s small, light, and has a lot of useful features built into the system.
This is the first headset we include with a dedicated base. It can be used for charging and as a physical answer/hang function. That is fairly standard, but there are also dedicated buttons that allow you to quickly switch between multiple devices, provided your smartphone allows more than one Bluetooth connection. This is great when you’re working in a group meeting but have a personal call come in. Hitting the switch mutes the original source without hanging, and the changeover is instantaneous.
The roaming range is a staggering 180m, far more than I could test in our offices, but we had no dropouts while on the move or in the adjacent room. Weirdly, it even worked to the floor above us.
One final point is that it features ANC tech on both the voice and audio side, so you should be able to hear your coworkers as clearly as they can.
*Note* Finally, here is a testament from myself: despite us being a tech media company, we have a lot of headsets available to us. But for my office, I wanted both a cohesive look and a cohesive standardization across our equipment. After reviewing this headset we put in a full order for 12 headsets. and have been happily using them for the past 3 months, the best thing I can say about them is the just work, no issues, easy to set up and great sound quality. That should transfer to a home office too, but if you are ordering for a larger space, then this is the one I would go for.
4. Shockz Opencomm2 UC
Features:
- The ultimate solution for people who need to be situationally aware
- Multipoint connection system
- Mac and PC compatible
- Quickcharge functionality and strong battery performance (15 hours tested)
What We Like:
Bone conduction headsets will not be suitable for everyone, but in the right environment, they are a fantastic tool that allows you to retain your full hearing while still fielding calls and holding meetings. Bone conduction is a long-term military and law enforcement favorite and transmits sound through your bone and into your ears. This is completely safe and allows you to hear while keeping your ears clear.
Shokz is the leading company in this space, and Opencomm2 is a very polished product that improves greatly on the original. It has a noise-canceling boom microphone attached, and just behind the ear, you can change the volume and take/reject calls using the built-in controls. This latest generation has multipoint technology, so you can hook up more than one device.
By far, the best thing was being able to hear the people around me, but I also really enjoyed the intuitive button layout with the mute button directly on the microphone and a customizable user button on the side.
Battery life is around 16 hours per charge and you can do a 5-minute quick charge to give yourself a further 2 hours of talk time.
Verdict: Best bone conduction headset with microphone
5. Logitech Vibe 100
Features:
- Popular mid-price headset with premium features
- Maintain connections to multiple devices simultaneously
- Cortana voice compatible with quick access
- Breathable materials for all-day comfort
WhY its Good:
Logitech is one of the biggest computer peripheral companies, famous for their gaming headsets. Thankfully, a lot of the tech that makes them so popular in competitive gaming trickles into the office with their wireless headsets.
The Logitech Vibe Headset is fully Multi-device compatible.
It’s beautiful and well-made; it is a highly functional workhorse piece of equipment that gets the job done with high-end features at half the Jabra units listed above.
Noise-canceling is on the microphone, so you and the callers can enjoy a distraction-free meeting.
You can instantly connect to Microsoft Teams with a press of the control button or use a long press to enable Microsoft’s Cortana Voice assistant.
A key feature is the multiple device connectivity, where this headset is hooked up wirelessly to your phone, computer, and tablet simultaneously. We found connectivity fast, and the range we achieved was around 26m before calls started dropping.
6. Jabra Pro 920 Wireless Deskphone
Features:
- Best one sided wireless headset
- Built-in hearing protection (Peak Stop Technology)
- Compact charging and connectivity base
- Outstanding wireless range (300ft claimed – 270 tested)
WhY its Good:
The Jabra Pro 920 is not a headset designed for your computer for conference calls. It is a phone replacement. If you are still conducting calls or sales over a landline, the Jabra Pro 920 is the best wireless hands-free phone on the market.
Exceptional call quality with noise cancelation and an outrageous 300 feet of uninterrupted range, leaving you free to take calls all over your home.
We enjoyed working with this during the past year and having my hands free yet clearly have discussions while inputting data. I felt free to work how I wanted, and the seamless integration of the system was a joy to use.
Controls for volume, etc., are built into the earpiece, as are status indicator lights showing you the battery and call modes currently set. The Pro 920 also has peak avoidance technology that blunts sharp, loud noises to protect your hearing.
If it’s a phone headset you are looking to use wirelessly in your home office, this gets our highest recommendation, but even if you want to spend a little less money, check out the cheaper models in the Jabra Pro lineup.
7. Jlab Go Work Gen 2
Features:
- LED mute indicator light
- Unbelievably cheap for how good it is
- Multi device compatibility
What We Like:
The Jlab Go Work Gen 2 is the perfect wireless headset for budget-conscious home workers. From the minute we received it for our review, we couldn’t figure out how many desirable features had been squeezed into such a well-made product at such a low price. Nor how they managed to make it better in its iteration while keeping the same price point.
You get multi-device connectivity, and my favorite feature on any headset is an indicator light right on the microphone tip so you know if you are muted or not. ,
The noise canceling isn’t as strong as the more expensive models listed above. I don’t think anyone is expecting a ground-shaking performance but the sound quality is great and its perfect for working from a home office..
8. Plantronics Voyager Focus 2
Features:
- Adjustable noise canceling
- Well priced
- Includes charging base in the price
What We Like:
Another Stereo Bluetooth Headset that is perfect for your home office is the Voyager Focus 2. The original focus headset was extremely popular but has been refined with even better technology and a sleeker modern aesthetic.
In most of the products on the best headset from home offices thus far, you have options with ANC being on or off. The Plantronics model here allows you to set the strength of the noise cancelation so it matches better with your environment.
On the microphone side, it uses Poly Fence technology to capture only the sound of your voice and ignore those that are further afield.
Sixteen hours of battery life was achieved in our tests, which is bang on what the company claimed. Bluetooth signal was strong thanks in part to the Bluetooth 5.1 working away inside, and they are one of the most comfortable headphones on test with a self-adjustable headband.
9. Plantronics voyager 5200
Features:
- Super portable great at home or in the car
- Great price and performance
- Native Microsoft Teams support
Why It’s Good:
I’ve been using the Plantronics 5200 headset for a while now, and it’s been a solid companion for my work-from-home setup. Having never been a fan of in-car call systems, I resort to using this headset in the car when I’m working or stuck in traffic, and everyone agrees the call quality is just simply better.
The fit is comfortable, even after hours of use, thanks to its ergonomic design and I think it looks great and less obnoxious than these sort of devices have in the past..
The Bluetooth connection is rock solid, and I appreciate the voice alerts that let me know when I’m connected or when the battery is low. Speaking of battery, it easily lasts through my workday without needing a recharge. The water-resistant coating has come in handy more than once, too. Plus, the simple button controls for volume and call handling are easy to use. Overall, it’s a reliable and feature-packed headset that’s been worth the investment, even though I use it less than the ones I use in the office itself
10. Yealink WH62
Features:
- One-sided headset for calls
- Works with desk phones
- Massive 500ft wireless range
What We Like:
Yealink is gaining popularity for its systems in Asia and offers something different from the models on this list. A cross between the Jabra Pro Deskphone and Plantronics Savi, it is a very good one-sided headset that connects simultaneously to your telephone line and computer.
Its full UC compatibility makes it work smoothly with many different communication systems. It also has DECT, which means the connection range is stable at well over 100m.
Don’t let the name throw you, as this is by far the best value and most versatile headset on this list. With the price being so well matched against the competition and the feature set being so rich, it’s worth looking at, even if it may not have the brand recognition of the above companies.
